On Sept.5th, SM China received 4 Mall China awards at the Mall China Golden Mall Awards Ceremony 2016 held in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, China. Assistant Vice President of SM China Operations Mr. Ronald Allan Brosas received the awards on behalf of SM.

The Mall China Golden Mall Awards Ceremony 2016 recognizes outstanding achievements of shopping centers and industrial professionals in various areas including plan and design, operations, marketing initiatives, industrial pilot projects, and city contributions. Mr. Ronald Allan Brosas was recognized Mall China Golden Mall Awards 2016 Youth Professional Leader Award with his dedication and expertise in China’s shopping center development and operation management. Xiamen SM Lifestyle Center won Mall China Golden Mall Awards 2016 Retail Format Innovation Award owing to its sales-driving innovation in its business format and layout. The marketing initiative of SM City Chengdu – the Kaleidoscope & Dialogue in the Dark Experience Campaign – was recognized Mall China Golden Mall Awards 2016 Marketing Award. And SM City Zibo, excelling in sustainable development, project planning and business combination among community shopping centers, was awarded Mall China Community Shopping Center Awards 2016 Key Study and Demonstration Project.

About Mr. Ronald Allan Brosas
Mr. Ronald Allan Brosas is currently the Assistant Vice President of SM China Operations. During his 20 years’ service at SM, he has conducted the strategic opening of multiple prominent SM malls including SM Mall of Asia and SM China malls in Chengdu, Suzhou, Chongqing and Zibo. He began taking charge of SM China shopping center operations since 2009, during which he has made tremendous contributions to SM’s steady and sound growth in China, making SM Xiamen the primary shopping destination of customers in Xiamen and its neighboring regions.
Mr. Allan Brosas has carried out a consistently prudent style in the strategic development of SM China. He focuses on services and customer experience. In recent years, he has been leading SM China’s transformation from one-stop shopping centers to Lifestyle Centers that introduce new lifestyles to consumers by increasing the percentage of dining, entertainment and service businesses and experiential brands.
He also pays attention and contributes great importance to environmental sustanability and protection, for which he works with the building integrated photovoltaic at 3 shopping malls in Xiamen and Jinjiang.
Xiamen SM Lifestyle Center
Xiamen SM Lifestyle Center, the first lifestyle shopping center in Fujian province, introduced the Lifestyle Mall concept to the area. It focuses on middle to high end market targeting at emerging middle class, white-collar professionals and young fashion conscious families.
Targeting at customers who have a taste for fashion and life quality, various international brands such as Apple Store, Zara, Sephora, MUJI etc. opened their first shops of Fujian province in Xiamen SM Lifestyle Center. SM City Chengdu Chenghua
SM City Chengdu Chenghua is the third stop of SM China. The mall covers a wide range of businesses including large supermarket, department store, furnishing, kids entertainment, food, cinema and KTV etc. It serves about 700,000 consumers.In May 2016, the marketing team of SM City Chengdu Chenghua introduced the kaleidoscope exhibition facility to the mall, and carried out the “dialog in the dark experience” activity by a German international NGO. This campaign not only recalled the participants’ childhood memory, but also advocated people’s awareness to protect their eyes and put more attention in interpersonal communications.
