On 1 April, the Zichuan Government delegation led by the Director, Mr. Li Xinsheng (李新胜 区长), Zichuan District Government, joined by Mr. Zhan Zhenqing (战振庆 局长), Director, Commercial Trade Bureau and Mr. Wang Jian
(王鉴) Director, Zichuan District Government Office visited SM China regional headquarters in Xiamen.
The delegation toured the SM Xiamen & SM Life Style supermalls. They were impressed by the vision of SM, providing best value products and services to the community, helping to develop its economy and improving people’s life style.
Over the meeting, numbers of issues have been discussed. Its noted the general construction will commence soon and the completion scheduled in late 2013. The government also acknowledged SM’s involvement in collaboration of promoting Zichuan goodwill.
The Director welcomed SM’s “for lease only policy” and has full confidence in SM’s financial capability. The government is looking forward to this 158,000m2 one-stop-shop shopping mall which is not available in Zichuan to be a role model in the developed BCD.
