SM Wins 4 Mall China 2017 Golden Mall Awards

       On Sep. 20th, SM China was given 4 awards on Mall China 2017 Golden Mall Award Ceremony held in Chengdu, China. Mr. Steven T. Tan, Senior Vice President of SM Supermalls, received the awards on behalf of SM.

       For this year’s Mall China Golden Mall Awards, there are different types of titles given include city services, marketing, industrial models, design and plan, asset management, tenant mix innovation, technology innovation, etc. For its 16 years of successful operation in Xiamen City, SM City Xiamen has been leading new style in the industry and the city, and therefore been recognized as Mall China Golden Mall Awards 2017 City Advancement Award. Paper Art @ SM Lifestyle Center was given Mall China Golden Awards 2017 Marketing Award for the innovative and socially beneficial event. SM City Tianjin, with its leading design capability, environment - friendly design concept and local culture accordance, has been awarded Mall China Golden Mall Awards 2017 Commercial Plan Innovation Award. After a series of evaluation of planning, tenant mix and sustainable development ability, SM City Chengdu was awarded Mall China Community Shopping Center Awards 2017 Key Study and Demonstration Project.

       Founded in 2002, Mall China is the earliest non-beneficial and professional service providing organization in China’s real estate industry. Mall China annual award started in 2006, now has great reputation and recognized by the industry with its principle of fair, open and public-oriented. It now has become the important reference of evaluating China’s mall development.


       On Sep. 21st, Annual Conference of Mall China also held International Symposium & Asia-Pacific Shopping Center Service Competitiveness Summit, which gathered leaders from Asia-Pacific shopping centers with new visions and new ideas, and launch high-end dialogues which discussing how to develop decisive advantages and improve service and shopping center competitiveness under the new business format. Mr. Steven T. Tan was invited to speak at the panel discussion themed “Views from Decision-makers: Key Factors for Enterprise (Shopping Center) Competitiveness”, during the discussion, he shared the successful experience of SM’s operations in both Philippines and China, and was deeply agreed by people on site.

SM City Xiamen

 
       SM City Xiamen was the first stop of SM Supermalls in China. With 16 years of successful “one-stop” mall operations, it now has become the landmark of Xiamen city, turning the once deserted place into a busy business center with daily average foot traffic reached 120 thousand and highest daily foot traffic reached 500 thousand.


       SM will keep making progress in introducing new experience of fashion and lifestyle.

SM Lifestyle Center


       SM Lifestyle Center was the first lifestyle shopping center in Xiamen and Fujian province, which first introduce the concept of lifestyle Mall into city. Paper Art event held on March. 18th to April 4th has provided immersive experience to customers through innovative activities such as Paper Art Garden, Cross-region Exhibition, DIY works and Earth Hour. It not only expressed the positive energy of our lives but also leaded the new fashion trend.

SM City Tianjin


       SM City Tianjin, an unprecedented masterpiece of SM Group, was designed by famous U.S. architecture design company ARQ. It combines 5 elements of Chinese traditional culture, metal, wood, water, fire and earth. The building can obtain lights naturally with the smooth and natural figures of the building, which also meets the needs of water-recycle and energy-saving. After less a year since its soft opening, SM City Tianjin has become a very popular mall in the region.

SM City Chengdu


       SM City Chengdu was one of the first shopping centers in Chengdu city and was targeted at families and communities from the very beginning. It introduced the idea of “one-stop”shopping into the busiest business circle in Chengdu. SM City Chengdu keeps optimizing its brand mix includes big supermarkets, SM store, cinema, retail, entertaining, catering and complex for children, along with exciting marketing activities, it has satisfied the needs of numerous families in the community.
